Throughout history, Greece has been a maritime nation; over time trade and shipping have always been essential to the country, that is a member of the European Union and the economic hub of Southeast Europe, due to its location as an ideal connecting point between the Middle East, Western Europe, and North Africa.
Both sectors play a major role in Greece’s efforts to combat the effects of the recession, as they aid the country become more extroverted and attract foreign investments with the help of Greeks living abroad.
The members of PADEE-WHIA are determined to help strengthen the relations between Greece and their countries, promote trade agreements and inform their colleagues, government officials as well as voters about the different opportunities within the Greek market.
