Welcome to the PADEE-WHIA website
Representing legislators of Hellenic origin across the world and connecting Greece and the Greek Parliament with the world.
The World Hellenic Inter-Parliamentary Association is an interparliamentary organization of the Greek diaspora bringing together legislators of Greek origin from around the world. We work constructively to build links between our own legislatures and the Parliaments of Greece and Cyprus through trade, tourism and cultural links.
WE WORK CONSTRUCTIVELY TO BUILD LINKS BETWEEN OUR OWN LEGISLATURES AND THE PARLIAMENTS OF GREECE AND CYPRUS THROUGH:
What we Believe
PADEE-WHIA aims to:
a) foster communication and promote relations between of legislatures of Greek descent in non-Greek speaking countries and the Hellenic Parliament
b) strengthen relations of friendship and co-operation with Greece and develop a common strategy in relation to issues concerning Greece, Cyprus and Greek Diaspora
c) promote Greek trade, shipping, investment and tourism
d) bring forth and promote the Hellenic Culture and the Greek language
We have an opportunity to make this organization a resource for all of its members, a vehicle for keeping Hellenes from all over the world connected to the work being done in different countries to promote issues of concern to Greece and Cyprus.
